On 2nd August 2018, Cytonn Investments held their quarterly Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) and Financial Advisors (FAs) Awards ceremony to recognize and award their top producers for the 2nd Quarter of 2018. The awards are given to the top producers in the distribution of the Cytonn High Yield Solutions (CHYS) and Cytonn Real Estate products. While giving the welcome note, the Senior Distribution Manager, Mr. Mex Osoro lauded the team for an excellent performance during the quarter despite market challenges. He stressed that it is the company’s culture to reward exemplary performance by the Financial Advisors and encouraged the team to continue working hard towards even better performance in Quarter 3.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Antti-Jussi Ahveninen, who is one of the Non-Executive Directors for the Cytonn Investments Management Plc Board, commended the efforts made by the Distribution team in onboarding clients and maintaining client relationships highlighting to them that, “The more you focus, the better you become, even in the eyes of your clients.” He further added that, “A successful sales person is one who prospects by finding an individual with a problem and laying a strong foundation for solving the problem.”

Maureen Salim , Unit Manager, at Cytonn Investments and the MC for the day, added that Cytonn’s main focus is serving the interest of its clients, which is best done by offering them innovative solutions that seek to satisfy their needs.

To crown the event, three financial Advisors were awarded for their exceptional performance during the quarter with the winner going home with a cheque of Kshs. 50,000, the 1st Runners Up Kshs 20,000, whereas the 2nd Runners Up received Kshs. 10,000.
