The main focus for the forum was to inspire and teach entrepreneurs on how to grow and scale up their various ventures. During her speech, Patricia noted the need for a unique value proposition when starting a business, “You must have analysed the market for a need you can serve, in order to successfully start a business. For Cytonn, this need was alternative investments which enables us to offer differentiated solutions providing superior returns to our clients”.

Moreover, she reiterated the importance of execution as a differentiator of a great strategy by employing people who are driven and who want to deliver their best at all times. While addressing the challenges related to running a business, she shared that there is no single way to incentivize, motivate and retain employees and a company may need to employ varied methods to ensure that they retain their top talent. Ultimately, those that stay are those that are deeply committed to the brand, and who are invested in ensuring its success.
