On Friday, 12th January 2018, Cytonn Investments Management Plc opened their Mt. Kenya office, to serve the growing demand in the Mt. Kenya region as part of its regional expansion plan. The office is located on the 3rd floor of Sohan Plaza in Nyeri Town, bringing the total number of Cytonn Investments Management Plc offices to 6. The Chief Guest, Nyeri Governor H.E Hon. Mutahi Kahiga, who was accompanied by other senior officials from Nyeri County Government officiated the opening. Speaking at the Launch he said, “We are happy to have an Alternative Investments firm focused on spreading information on Wealth Management and Alternative Investments in this region. This presents an enormous opportunity in promoting Financial Literacy in Nyeri County, and as the County Government, we will create an enabling environment for the Cytonn team.”

Speaking during the launch, Cytonn’s Managing Partner and C.E.O Edwin H. Dande remarked, “This office seeks to tap into the vast opportunities that the region offers by bringing services closer to our clients.” He further noted that the entry into Mt. Kenya was part of Cytonn’s commitment to entrench further the company’s offering of Real Estate products into the region. “We will continue with our regional expansion plans driven by extensive market research to better serve our clients and investors. We are currently targeting to have presence in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ghana,” he added.

Speaking at the event, Cytonn’s Senior Manager - Regional Markets, Johnson Denge noted that, “Nyeri poses a great opportunity for Real Estate Investments driven by its strategic location, better infrastructure and high incomes with county per capita ranking 2nd in the country.” He further added that, “This move to launch our Nyeri office is in line with our regional expansion plan in Kenya as we continue to put in place all the necessary measures geared towards providing Alternative Investments in Kenya and the African region.”

To mark the opening of the Nyeri Office, the team held a golf tournament at the Nyeri Golf Club, which culminated into a club nite to network with local investors drawn from the larger Mt. Kenya region. “The Nyeri Golf Club fraternity believes Cytonn has made the right move in setting up base in Nyeri and we’re fully in support of their expansion of real estate development opportunities to the Mt. Kenya region,” noted Mr. Elijah Nguyo, Chairman - Nyeri Golf Club.

Cytonn Investments Management Plc is keen on expanding its services in Kenya and the African Continent and it continues to put in place all the necessary steps geared towards fulfilling the Alternative Investments Inclusion Agenda, as well as redefining real estate investments in the region.

Currently, Cytonn Investments Management has six offices including Liaison House on State House Avenue, The Chancery on Valley Road, Fedha in Westlands, Adlife in Kilimani, Greenbelt in the United States of America, and the newly opened Nyeri Office in Sohan Plaza.
