Cytonn Asset Managers Limited, the regulated affiliate of Cytonn Investments PLC has launched a new paybill feature linked to its Money Market Fund.
This new paybill feature is aimed at improving the digital experience for Cytonn Money Market Fund (CMMF) clients. The launch also comes at a time where payments are increasingly shifting to the digital and online space and more vendors and merchants are accepting online payments.
CMMF clients will now save time, money and hussle in making paybill payments as they will be able to pay any M-PESA paybill instantly from their Cytonn Wallet.
“Over the cause of second quarter of 2021, we have been working on improving the digital experience for our digital platforms,” said Anthony Munyare, a Senior Business Systems Analyst at Cytonn Investments, when speaking about the new feature.
The new feature is expected to open endless possibilities and flexibility with the Cytonn digital wallet as clients can virtually pay to any merchant seamlessly. Additionally, the cost of transaction is set to be competitive and favorable to CMMF clients.
“Currently, this feature is available on CMMF and will soon be available to CHYF (Cytonn High Yield Fund) clients. Buy Goods and Services is also in the pipeline and will be available pretty soon as well.” Antony added.
