On Monday 27th August, The Rotary Club of Nairobi Industrial Area, hosted Cytonn for a training on Future Investment Opportunities, during their monthly meeting at The Panafric Hotel.

Speaking during the forum, the club’s President, Lucie Kamiti, commended members for remaining true to the Rotary Club spirit, urging them on in creating a lasting impact to society. Miss Kamiti also reiterated the importance of partnership with the corporates present in scaling the impact of Rotaract Club activities to society.

Rogers Opere gives a brief introduction to the Rotary Club

The club’s Sergeant at Arms, Rogers Opere while giving a brief profile on the Rotary Club to the audience noted, “Rotary club’s purpose is to bring together businesses and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.” He explained.

Sam Muendo trains on future investment opportunities

Sam Muendo, Unit Manager at Cytonn Investments who was the keynote speaker for the day facilitated the session on attractive future investment opportunities. He outlined the high yielding alternative investment offerings such as real estate that continue to attract returns of up to 25% p.a., while also reiterating the need for diversification of investment portfolio to minimize risk. The audience was keen to learn more about Cytonn’s Investment products as well as how the company is able to provide attractive returns.

The event later culminated to a meet and greet session facilitated by club President, Lucie Kamiti, before an elaborate charity fundraising session to finance the club’s causes and initiatives for society.
