Cytonn CEO, Edwin Dande (R)receiving Mr. Kai Mykkänen, Finnish Minister of Foreign Trade & Development, and Tarja Fernández, Finnish Ambassador to Kenya at our Cytonn offices.

Minister Kai Mykkanen lauded Kenyan real estate firms in their skills to develop the sector which has contributed to the Kenyan economy. He added that the quality and competence of the real estate sector will largely influence the growth of Nairobi and Kenyan cities.

“In fifty years, there will be a higher urban population in Africa than there will be in Europe. This means that there is great potential in the sector that industry players need to exploit. There is need for Kenyan companies to develop partnerships with Finnish companies that offer real estate services so that together we can improve the sector,” noted Mykkanen.
