Our Managing Partner & CEO, Edwin H. Dande, was the guest speaker at the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK) Annual Gala Dinner held at Villa Rosa Kempinski on Friday, 1st December 2017.
Delivering his key address on Innovative ways of financing development and innovation in the real estate sector, Edwin noted that an innovative brand is one which adopts a sharp mindset looking to achieve extraordinary results.
Edwin also took the participants through the journey behind Cytonn’s establishment. “Cytonn was formed to sit between those with capital and are hungry for yield, and those with entrepreneurial ventures hungry for capital, where as opposed to taking ages seeking bank funding, you can also access funding directly from investors through structured finance. This is the innovative way to finance real estate development projects,” noted Edwin.
The IQSK Chairman, QS. Andrew Mandere, was also in attendance. Speaking during the event, he congratulated the IQSK Members for their continued support, while highlighting that the IQSK Dinner is an event held yearly to allow members to meet and reflect over the past year in a friendly and less formal environment.
