Cytonn Asset Managers Ltd has realeased the unaudited financial statements for its unit trust funds for the period ended 30th June 2026.
A key highlight from the report is the performance of the Cytonn Money Market Fund (CMMF), which recorded a profit of KES 92.0mn for the first half of the year, compared to KES 83.5mn in the corresponding period in 2025. This growth was largely driven by attractive yields on short-term fixed-income instruments which supported portfolio returns, as well as strong investor demand for liquid low-risk investment products which contributed to an increase in assets under management.
As at 30th June 2026, CMMF reported total assets under management of KES 2.3bn, up from KES 1.9bn in December 2025, representing a 18.4% increase. The strong performance was further supported by prudent investment strategies within a well-diversified portfolio, enabling the fund to sustain its target average returns of up to 12.0% per annum for its unitholders.
Investors in the Cytonn Money Market Fund have also continued to benefit from seamless service delivery through the Cytonn App, a digital platform that offers real-time access for investing, withdrawals, and bill payments on a 24/7 basis, while maintaining competitive returns.
The released financial statements include half year reports of Cytonn Money Market Fund-USD, Cytonn High Yield Fund, Cytonn Equity Fund(Dormant), Cytonn Balanced Fund(Dormant) and Cytonn Africa Financial Services Fund(Dormant).
